Sorry we’ve been MIA, we’ve had a lot of busy-ness and concentrating on schoolwork with Grace…which is very time-consuming lately! Anyways, we had many hearts sprinkled through our day, some of which were heart pancakes…not too bad eh?!?

So I had a valentine project bookmarked for ages that I finally decided it was time to follow through on. Felted wool heart scarfs…so Mia and I went to goodwill and scoured the racks for 100% wool sweaters in the right colors to felt. Once felted I realized that the girls would NEVER wear the scarfs as they were way too itchy. So in good Nicole Style I procrastinated until I had two nights left before Valentines Day and decided I needed something for my girls, and it would be a bonus if it came from the felted wool that was taking up the last smidgen of my closet! So I did a quick google and found this adorable pattern. I thought it might be too ambitious for two nights left, and two birthday parties to attend, one of which was in LA. But I made it happen and here’s the resulting adorable purses!

And my goodness I LOVE ric-rac! It has such a nice vintage, home-made feel to it!

Thanks for looking and hanging on when I haven’t posted in ages!! Don’t forget to leave a comment!
