I had the pleasure of photographing mr b yesterday! What a precious little man…already four weeks old, unfortunately we weren’t able to get together earlier as we were out of town, and had a fun case of bronchitis in our family. Even so, mr b cooperated nicely, and was so sleepy! I had so much fun…I hope his momma and daddy enjoy these!

April 13, 2010get the party started…
April 9, 2010So we’re working on miss mia’s party and we got the invitations out! I think they turned out cute, princessy but not too disney princessy. I also love the wrap around labels I printed on my new color printer…how did I get by as a crafty person for so long without a color printer!?!?! I’m having so much fun printing everything in color, oh I’ll have to take pictures of the food labels I made…soooo cute! Anyways, mia was very excited that the post office had “king and queen” postage…what are the chances of that???

Oh, and I can’t forget the bazillion cups we stamped with a crown. This set-up tuned into a fantastic math lesson for Grace!

Thanks for looking and indulging me with my party/crafty craziness!

wildflowers….anyone?
April 6, 2010So I have been on the lookout for the perfect field of Lupine, to take pictures of the girls in. So far we haven’t had any luck…the only spot I’ve found is on a super busy road, and we weren’t supposed to stop. To my eldest daughter’s dismay, I ignored the “no stopping any time” sign, and stopped, car running with hazard lights. We jumped out of the car for literally two minutes max! In those two minutes we had two girl in tears cause “the flowers are too tall and too itchy!” Mommy’s response was “toughen up, we’re only here for a minute!” Wow…how loving and understanding…what a model parent I am!! Anyways…I would have liked to have had a bit more time, and happier children but oh well, the search continues. We did however find a nice yellow flower field, easy access and no breaking laws or risking lives! So we spent about five minutes in this little field until the crickets caused someone to cry and it was time to leave. Hmmm…I may have to get my little city slickers out and about in nature more often!!

Thanks for looking!
