So here are more than a few photos with details from mia’s party. I had so much fun creating and crafting for the last few weeks! Many ideas were found on various party blogs online…yep there are blogs dedicated to parties, crazy huh?!? I didn’t know this until recently, and I have to say they are a lot of fun to look at. It’s amazing all the creative ideas people come up with. So without further ado…the details!
Treat bar…yummy and so much fun. I was very impressed with the children’s restraint…they all waited until they were called to fill their treat tins!
A few more details…
My cricut and my color printer are by far my favorite craft items, well, not to mention photoshop! I was very excited about the treat tins, as they can be re-used for crayon tins. I used a polka dot digital paper, changed the color in photoshop, printed on a full sheet label, then cricuted the children’s initials with my favorite cricut cartridge, Storybook . I also used the Storybook cartridge for the birthday banner! I cricuted the flower centerpieces then cut/pasted them to make them 3d, I think they turned out cute! I had so much fun with the signs, another photoshop/color printer creation. I was getting a little punchy when creating the signs, hence the silly wording. Oh, and my sweet girl got her Sleeping Beauty in the form of a cake! And it made a cute centerpiece to the treat bar.

I love your attention to detail. Your table looks absolutely amazing. I do catering for parties and would really love to help my clients with decorations and improve my own presentation. You mentioned you got inspiration from a lot of good party blogs out there. Could you recommend some too me?

The little girls’ shirts are gorgeous– it looks like the entire party was inspired by that fabric (which I find myself doing all the time). Beautiful!
Thank you for all the sweet comments! For the shirts, we actually chose the fabric after we chose the color scheme, this seller on etsy was very accommodating and had a great selection of fabric to choose from!
LOVE THIS …you must tell …how did you make the adoarable paper flowers? I’ve got 2 girls …we just did a pink pirate party for the 6 yr old in March ..and this gives me some ideas for my July baby girl turning 4!
Thank you for the compliment! The paper flowers were made with the Accent Essentials and Walk in my Garden cricut cartridges. I cut out a section of each flower and curved it, and pasted it back together to make it more 3 dimensional, then I attached them to floral wire with white floral tape. They were a serious labor of love, but I wanted to use what I had on hand and not spend anymore money, so this is what I came up with!
